Czechia's emerging data-centre market has secured a significant AI infrastructure commitment. German AI cloud provider Polarise has reserved 15MW at CRA's planned Prague Gateway facility outside the capital.

What the evidence establishes

The 15MW reservation is intended for liquid-cooled AI infrastructure and represents roughly 58% of Prague Gateway's planned 26MW base capacity. The site is being developed in Jíloviště near Prague, and the agreement would mark Polarise's first Czech capacity.

The commercial reading

The deal matters because sovereign and regional AI clouds need more than software companies. They require high-density power, cooling, fibre connectivity and sites capable of supporting modern accelerators. A large anchor reservation can improve the commercial case for building that infrastructure in Czechia rather than concentrating capacity in Frankfurt, Amsterdam or other established European hubs.

What to watch next

Watch construction milestones, grid capacity, the identity of the end customer, accelerator deployments and whether additional AI providers reserve Czech capacity.

How to use this analysis

Technology investment should be tested against deployed capacity, active customers and recurring revenue. Patents, licences, pilots and funding rounds are intermediate evidence. They can be important without proving that a product has reached commercial scale or that an announced facility is operating at its intended load.
