Czech Technology Companies Database: 25 Companies to Know

A sourced directory of Czech-founded and Czech-based technology companies across software, cybersecurity, AI, travel, e-commerce, gaming, semiconductors and advanced engineering.

Last reviewed: 2 September 2026. The dataset records disclosed values, definitions and status rather than estimating missing information.

The Czech technology economy is broader than the current unicorn list. It includes globally distributed software companies, acquired Czech-founded products, private scaleups, industrial AI businesses, gaming studios and semiconductor-design companies.

This directory therefore does not use one valuation threshold. Its purpose is to identify commercially significant technology businesses with a genuine Czech founding, headquarters or operating connection, and to label ownership changes rather than pretending acquired companies remain independent startups.

Methodology

Inclusion requires a material Czech connection that is stated in company or recognised ecosystem material. A company can be Czech-founded even if its legal or global headquarters later moved abroad; the table describes that distinction rather than collapsing it into a single location label.

Ownership status is descriptive, not a valuation claim. Acquired companies remain in the directory when the Czech operation or product remains relevant to the country's technology ecosystem. The database is intended to expand and will be refreshed when ownership, headquarters or operating status changes.

Using the dataset

These research pages are maintained as reference datasets rather than one-off news stories. Readers citing a table should include the review date because company, regulatory and project status can change materially between updates.
